What is Sound Healing/Therapy?
It is a therapeutic practice that dates back thousands of years, and that uses specific frequences and sound vibrations with the intention to improve physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. This can involve various tools and techniques such as:
-Singing bowls (Tibetan or crystal)
-Tuning forks
-Gongs
-Chanting or vocal toning
-Binaural beats and frequency-based music
As we are made of energy and 75% of water, when applying intention and vibration together we can affect change, not only in our moods and state of mind, but also affect our cellular make up/geometry to its natural, healthy state.
This is clearly demonstrated by Japanese scientist
Masaru Emoto in his book “The hidden Message of Water”
He did a research on how water responds to vibration and intention. He took high- speed photographs of water crystals as they formed. Through his experiments he found that water has the ability to memorize and copy information that it is exposed to.
He found that crystals formed in frozen water reveal changes when specific, concentrated thoughts, music, words written on paper or images are directed toward it. All of these vibrations impact on the crystal structure.
Sound is used in medical treatments through ultrasound to scan images or high frequency vibrations to break cancer cells.
Tibetan monks still use certain sounds to raise their vibration and be in a higher state of mind.
Jonathan Goldman, a leading figure in sound healing, emphasizes the profound impact of sound on health and consciousness. He likens the body to an orchestra, where each part must harmonize; illness arises when one section plays out of tune. Goldman suggests that sound healing can restore balance by reintroducing the correct vibratory frequencies, much like giving a musician their sheet music back. He also highlights the importance of intention in healing, stating: “It is not only the frequency of the sound that creates its effect, it is also the intention of the person making and receiving the sound.”
This underscores the holistic nature of sound healing, where both the vibrational quality and the conscious intent contribute to therapeutic outcomes.
Frequency + Intention= Healing
I am a certified Sound Healer from the College of Sound Healing in UK. I work with my voice, tuning forks and percussion instruments. Each treatment is unique to the person's needs at the moment in time.I can work from your house or my home studio.
